I believe that supervision should be a supportive and nurturing environment that helps you explore your client work and supports your personal and professional development. It is a space to reflect on your relationship to therapeutic work, promoting self-awareness and prioritising self-care.
I provide a safe environment for you to reflect on your professional practice using a variety of methods, and provide a reflective space to explore not just client work, but your thoughts, feelings and experiences with clients, openly without fear or judgement. Creating a space where you can gain clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of purpose in your work. This space will enhance self-awareness, contributing to a more thoughtful, intentional, and ethically grounded practice. It aims to facilitate transformational learning, where you can challenge assumptions, expand your perspective, and develop your learning for the benefit of your clients.
Supervision can serve as a vital space for affirmation and confirmation fostering an environment where learning and development thrive. It encourages accountability and provides opportunities for constructive correction, ensuring that individuals can grow and in their roles. This dynamic setting not only enhances skills but also strengthens relationships teams. Embracing supervision in this light can lead to a more empowered and effective workforce.
